Biodramina Mood is a music project that emerges with the idea of spreading the essence of film soundtracks to other settings: not only concert halls and theatres, but also jazz, pop and other contemporary music festivals.

The project leader, Antonio Fernández, plays the guitar and the lap steel, and also composes the music and the arrangements. The band is made up of five instruments: marimba, cello, guitar, tuba and drums. A peculiar orchestration that allows a variety of timbres and a unique creative freedom impossible to achieve with a more conventional selection.

The band was created in Madrid at the end of 2008, and has since then played on the country’s most prestigious stages, as well as publishing two albums:

* * * Centrifugado Magnético (2010)

* * * ¡Arriba Excursionistas! (2012)

They were shortlisted for the third edition of the Independent Music Awards, and Rolling Stone Magazine highlighted them as one of the top 25 Spanish Groups of the moment.
